Wrestlingworth Infant and Dunton Junior are proud to be able to offer wraparound care to our families from 7:45am to 5:45pm during term time, to support our working parents.
We are working with Central Bedfordshire Council to provide high quality and cost effective care as part of the National Wraparound Childcare Programme.
Our before school wraparound care is called The Early Birds and is held at Dunton Junior School, whilst our popular after school club, known as The Tree House is located at both schools. Families from both schools are welcome to take advantage of the wraparound care available. Both Early Birds and Tree House are run by experienced school staff who know our children, school and families well. As the wraparound care is run by school, they follow all school policies and procedures.
We offer a relaxed but engaging environment where children can choose from a range of different activities including crafts, games and reading, all appropriate to both our infants and juniors. Early Birds offers a variety of nutritious breakfast choices such as cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurts whilst children that attend Tree House will be offered a light snack.

Short session – 3:30pm – 4:30pm – £6
Long session – 3:30pm – 5:45pm – £12
Dunton Tree House –
Short session – 3:15pm – 4:30pm – £6

Invoices are emailed and payment is due monthly in advance.
Does Wrestlingworth have before school wraparound care?
We currently only have before school wraparound care at Dunton. Children that attend Wrestlingworth are very welcome to use this provision and will be taken to Wrestlingworth on the school bus. School staff and the Central Bedfordshire Council bus chaperone help to escort children safely on and off the bus, and into school.
We hope to open a before school Early Birds provision at Wrestlingworth in the future.
Do you accept tax free childcare vouchers?
Yes we are able to accept tax free childcare vouchers to help eligible parents with their childcare costs. If you would like to use childcare vouchers for our wraparound care, please contact either school office.
I would like my child to attend Early Birds and/or Tree House, what do I need to do?
Please check with the school office in the first instance to check there is a space available. For Early Bird enquiries please contact the Dunton school office.
If your child has not attended our wraparound care before you will need to complete a one off registration form. You will also need to compete a booking form to confirm which days you require. Bookings are assumed to usually be long term (i.e- the same every week) unless otherwise stated. We do also accept one off ad hoc bookings (space dependant).
