Wrestlingworth Infant and Dunton Junior C of E Schools Federation is a place where children can grow, learn, and feel at home. Our schools focus on building a sense of community, encouraging a love for learning, and supporting each child in their journey.

We provide a safe, welcoming environment where Christian values are important, and there are plenty of opportunities for learning and fun. Teachers and staff work closely with our families, our Churches and the local community so that our children are nurtured to reach their full potential.

Welcome from our Headteacher

‘From the smallest seeds grow the biggest trees’

A very warm welcome to our Church of England Wrestlingworth Infant and Dunton Junior Schools Federation. As the new headteacher, I am incredibly proud to lead two wonderful schools that place our children and community at the very heart of everything we do.

Wrestlingworth and Dunton lie just outside the small towns of Sandy and Biggleswade. We have strong links to our local churches of St Mary Magdalene and St Peter’s and we are part of the wider family of St Alban’s Diocese.

Every day, I see firsthand the dedication of our enthusiastic staff, who beautifully nurture our pupils’ spiritual, social, and academic growth. We are incredibly proud of our children’s achievements and make it a priority to celebrate their diverse successes every single week.

My passion lies in small school development. Having successfully led improvements in small school settings, I am excited to bring that experience here. By collaborating with our skilled staff, governors, church leaders and parents, my goal is to bring our rich curriculum to life—enhancing the children’s learning experiences and outcomes while strictly preserving the nurturing, family feel that makes our small schools so special.

Guided by strong links with our local churches, our Christian values underpin daily school life. We see these values in action every day, both inside and outside the classroom, rooted in our regular Collective Worship, core lessons, and church visits.

We strongly believe that a child’s education is a partnership between home and school. My door is always open and I am always visible on the school gates. I look forward to working closely with you all.
