Wrestlingworth Infant and Dunton Junior are proud to be able to offer wraparound care to our families from 7:45am to 5:45pm during term time, to support our working parents.
We are working with Central Bedfordshire Council to provide high quality and cost effective care as part of the National Wraparound Childcare Programme.
Our before school wraparound care is called The Early Birds and is held at Dunton Junior School, whilst our popular after school club, known as The Tree House is located at Wrestlingworth. Families from both schools are welcome to take advantage of the wraparound care available. Both Early Birds and Tree House are run by experienced school staff who know our children, school and families well. As the wraparound care is run by school, they follow all school policies and procedures.
We offer a relaxed but engaging environment where children can choose from a range of different activities including crafts, games and reading, all appropriate to both our infants and juniors. Early Birds offers a variety of nutritious breakfast choices such as cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurts whilst children that attend Tree House will be offered a light snack.

7:45am – 8:45am – £5
Tree House (held at Wrestlingworth Infant School) –
Short session – 3:30pm – 4:30pm – £6
Long session – 3:30pm – 5:45pm – £12
Invoices are emailed and payment is due monthly in advance.
What if I require wraparound care at one school but my child attends your other school?
No problem! Your child can use the school bus (space permitting) that travels between both school sites in order to get to school or wraparound care. School staff and the Central Bedfordshire Council bus chaperone help to escort children safely on and off the bus, and into school.
Do you accept tax free childcare vouchers?
Yes we are able to accept tax free childcare vouchers to help eligible parents with their childcare costs. If you would like to use childcare vouchers for our wraparound care, please contact either school office.
I would like my child to attend Early Birds and/or Tree House, what do I need to do?
Please check with the school office in the first instance to check there is a space available. Please contact Dunton School office for Early Bird enquiries and Wrestlingworth School office for Tree House enquiries.
If your child has not attended our wraparound care before you will need to complete a one off registration form. You will also need to compete a booking form to confirm which days you require. Bookings are assumed to usually be long term (i.e- the same every week) unless otherwise stated. We do also accept one off ad hoc bookings (space dependant).
