In Dunton, we have the incredible privilege of accessing our vibrant community gardens as part of our curriculum. Regularly our students have the chance to immerse themselves within natures canvas, sketching the flora that flourishes with the changing seasons. During science lessons, we observe the intricate patterns of seasonality, linking our discoveries to our understanding of the environment. In a delightful French picnic, we taste and appreciate fresh locally-sourced produce while practising conversational French with our peers. Our History lessons transform into a thrilling adventure as we embrace life as hunter-gatherers, foraging for edible plants and discovering their historical significance. Through these experiences, we not only expand our academic knowledge but also cultivate a profound respect for our community and the natural world around us.
