We want all children to develop the self-confidence, skills, knowledge, and understanding to develop a lifelong love of music, whilst also providing a secure foundation that enables them to take music further should they wish to. We intend for our children to enjoy, appreciate and express themselves through music and singing.
Music skills and knowledge are taught discretely using the ‘Sing Up’ scheme.
We sing together every week in our Singing Worship and value this as a time of enjoyment, praise and reflection.
Every month we celebrate a Musician of the Month as introduction music in our Worship.
